Camel Festival

Gangaur Festival
This festival is celebrated every year in the month of April in Bikaner. The name of the festival is derived from the Lord Shiva and Gauri. This festival is devoted to Goddess Parvati.

Kolyat Fair
It is the most popular fair of the city which is organized in the Kartik month every year. People visit this fair and take a dip in Kolyat Lake on the full moon day during this festival.

Places to visit 

Lalgarh Palace
Lalgarh Palace was built between 1902 and 1926 according to the European architectural style in Bikaner. The architecture of the palace is mesmerizing and features magnificent pillars and elaborate fireplaces.

Laxmi Niwas Palace
The design of laxmi-niwas-palace is inspired from British architecture and was designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob. It is a famous tourist place in Bikaner.

Junagarh Fort
Junagarh fort is the real reflection of the historical architecture of this place and was constructed by Raja Rai Singh. There are thirty seven palaces, pavilions and many temples in the fort. It was built with red sandstone and marble which makes it quite attractive in Bikaner. You can also see paintings and rare antiques in this fort.

Junagarh Fort
Shiv bari temple was Built by Dungar Singh ji in the late 19th century. The temple is surrounded by an embattlement wall. It has four-faced black marble Shiva statue and a bronze Nandi facing the Shiva-Lingam. There are two large reservoirs of water known as bawaris. This red sandstone temple attracts thousands of visitors during Shravan especially on mondays.
