Manali is a popular hill station in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh. Places to visit
Hadimba or Dhungiri temple in Manali is one of the most important temples in the region. This temple is built in 1553 and is located in the middle of a forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar. It is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. A good piece of Architecture can be noticed here and the Temple is beautifully designed.
Manu Temple is dedicated to Hindu Law-giver Lord Manu. This Temple is at a distance of 3 kms from the centre town of the Manali. It is a prominent place in Manali.
Vashisht Baths is situated on the bank of River Ravi. It is a Famous Tourist Attraction in Manali and is visited by everyone who visits Manali. It is a mesmerizing place at a distance of 6 kms from the town of the manali.
Rahalla Falls is situated at a 16 kilometers from Manali and is at a altitude of 9000 ft. The rahalla Fall is in the middle of Deodar and Brich forests with a natural setup all around.
Slogan Valley is situated at a distance of 14 kms from Manali and is famous for various adventures sports. The Slogan is the perfect destination for the one who loves adventure sports like skating.
Arjuna Gufa is located on the bank of River Beas. The Gufa is 5 kms away from the Manali town and is a cave dedicated to Arjuna. The Place is full of charms, as it is surrounded by hills and green and lush trees.
Beas Kund is a Holy Lake. Water flows at the source of the river like a spring, so clear and icy cold that it almost numbs the fingers. All around is the rocky terrain with very little vegetation.
