Noida,National Capital Region of India 

Introduction 
Noida is one of the most well-planned and modern industrial city which is located in the state of Uttar Pradesh of India. It is also a part of the National Capital Region of India. It is spreads over 20,316 hectares, with many sectors which is fully developed. Noida stands for New Okhla Industrial Development Authority and came into administrative existence on 17 April 1976. It offers a pollution free high standard of living and a highly supportive industrial environment with its unique infrastructure providing numerous or matchless facilities. Noida is well connected to Delhi through a network of roads, National Highways and also many DND flyover which is offering inter-road linkages to all parts of the country. The city Noida is free from pollution and traffic-jams because it has developed a number of green belts, gardens and parks to give further impetus to its pollution free environment. Noida is home to many big international as well as national companies like Agreeya Solutions, Global Logic, Birla soft, EXL, Impetus, ST Micro electronics, Mtron PTI, Fiserv, TCS, Adobe Systems, CSC, HCL, Interra and Xansa. There is also a Film City in Noida which is situated in sector 16A where you will find offices of major news channels, film studios and other institutes.

Festivals 
There are many festivals celebrates in Noida but some of the most famous festivals are Ram Navami, Nag Panchami and Janmashtami which are celebrated with full excitement by the people of Noida. In Noida, Ram Navami is celebrated as one of the significant day in the Hindu religion. Nag Panchami is generally celebrated in the monsoon season when heavy rainfalls take place. The Festival of Janmashtami is devoted to Lord Krishna as his birthday. The people of Noida celebrate this day with lots of pooja by doing Kirtan along with being on fast all day and night. Apart from all these Festivals, Noida also celebrates Noida Day on 17 April every year.

Places to visit 

Worlds of Wonder
Worlds of Wonder is one of the most prominent place in Noida. It is the largest amusement parks in Asia which is thronged by many Tourists on Weekends. The Park is divided into two major sections, first one is Road Show and the second one is La Fiesta. There are also many popular rides in the park like Download Ride, Rocking Roller, Mega Disco, Big Beat, Shangai Swinger, Hip Hopper, Chart Smashers, Feed Back and Fast Forward.

Pragati Maidan
Pragati Maidan is also a most famous Tourist place which is situated at a distance of 13 kms away from Noida. It spreads over an area of 6,07,028 square meters. It is a venue for trade fairs and conferences in New Delhi. It was built in 1982, this multifaceted at present hosts 70 nationalized and worldwide exhibitions.

Atta Market
Atta Market is one of the most popular place for shopping which is situated Sector 18 in Noida. It is a major shopping hub in Noida which is very popular among the residents of the area owing to the never ending variety of places to choose from to both eat and shop. Everyone can buy anything from cheap apparel to footwear here. Plastic items, provisions and other home supplies can also be purchased here.

Noida Park
The Noida Park lies at the border of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. There is a lots of lush greenery all around. There are also many fountains and lawns in the Park. In the evening, the lawns are well lit up and this gives the entire place a great look.

Zoological Garden
It is one of the most interesting tourist spot which is situated at a distance of 8 kms from Noida. It is also popularly known as Chiriyaghar. The park spreads over an area of 175 arces and houses more than 127 species of animals and birds. The Park was inaugurated by Mr. Punjab Rao who was the Honorable Minister of the Government Of India and was initially called the Delhi Zoo.
